UX strategy is the process that should be started first, before the design or development of a digital product begins. It’s the vision of a solution that needs to be validated with real potential customers to prove that it’s desired in the marketplace. It’s a plan-of-action on how to ascertain that the user experience of a product is aligned with the business’s objectives.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to conduct UX Strategy through hands-on experience and collaboration. We’ll practice with a made-up value proposition for a digital product where you will identify a target customer segment and determine the fastest way to engage with them for discovering real-world problems that needs solving. You learn how to analyze existing direct competitors focusing on UX-centric attributes for informing strategic decision-making. Lastly, we will brainstorm a conversion funnel for acquiring prospects through social media with the goal of getting them “hooked” into the product.
